ORILLIA, Ont. - A man was taken to hospital early today after he crashed while being chased by police in Orillia, Ont.
The incident began after police responded to a call of men fighting at a gas station.
They say when they arrived, one of the men's vehicles hit a police cruiser and sped off, sparking the chase.
During the chase, the driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed.
Police say the 21-year-old driver from Beaverton, Ont., was not critically hurt.
The special investigations unit is now looking into the incident.
