One person is in custody after two men were stabbed at a west-end banquet hall over the weekend.

Police said a 25-year-old and a 20-year-old were stabbed at the Lithuanian House on Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West at around 11 p.m. on Saturday.

The confrontation took place after some uninvited guests tried to join celebrations at the hall.

Both were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said one suspect has been arrested and will be charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.
