WEST LINCOLN, Ont. - Police have identified a man killed Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash in West Lincoln as a 45-year-old Stoney Creek man.

Niagara regional police say Ronald Horvat was a passenger in a pickup truck that hit a utility pole on Regional Road 20.

Police say the passenger side of the vehicle struck the pole and Horvat was partially ejected and sustained fatal injuries.

The driver suffered life threatening injuries and was transported by air ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
