A man who was shot last night near Jane Street and Weston Road is recovering in hospital, according to police at 12 Division.
The 20-year-old is listed in stable condition after he was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday.
The man was found in a parking lot on Emmett Avenue shortly after 9 p.m. He was shot several times, suffering wounds to his chest, hip and left arm.
Police believe he got into an altercation with another man who fled the scene on foot, heading north.
Investigators will spend the day looking for witnesses who can provide more details but so far, the suspect is described as a black man wearing dark clothing.
