Toronto police say a suspect wanted in an investigation into the sexual assault of a 15-year-old boy was spotted at the Canadian National Exhibition on Wednesday.

Const. Wendy Drummond said police were contacted after a man matching the suspect’s description was seen near the washrooms at the Direct Energy Centre on the CNE fairgrounds.

Police launched an investigation after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly sexually assaulted in the bathrooms Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the man struck up a conversation before sexually assaulting the teen.

The suspect is described as Asian, between the ages of 50 and 60, five-foot-five with a thin build and thinning black hair. He was reportedly wearing a white, unbuttoned, collared dress shirt with a white tank top during Tuesday’s incident.
