Toronto police are investigating after a Toronto woman woke up with an unknown man in her apartment.
The woman was assaulted, police say, at approximately 5 a.m. in an apartment in the area of Dundas Street West and Mabelle Avenue.
Police said the 24-year-old victim was awakened by an unknown man in her apartment. The man sexually assaulted her before fleeing the area.
The suspect has been described as black, approximately 6-foot with a "pot belly" and a Caribbean accent. At the time of the assault, he was wearing dark pants and a light coloured long-sleeve top.
