Subway service was suspended along a three-station stretch of Line 2 for more than an hour on Friday morning while emergency track repairs were completed.

The issue was first reported at around 10 a.m. and wasn’t resolved until 11:10 a.m.

Service was impacted between Victoria Park and Kennedy stations.

The latest service disruption came after a challenging Wednesday morning commute that saw service along the entirety of Line 1 briefly suspended, with residual delays lasting through much of rush hour due to signal issues.

Service was also briefly suspended between St. George and Finch stations on Line 1 on Monday morning.

Interim CEO Greg Percy previously issued an apology for the delays on Wednesday, calling it “another difficult morning for TTC customers.”
