TORONTO - Weather, operational problems and striking York Region Transit workers resulted in delays for GO Transit commuters today.

On the trains, the Hamilton 6:32 arrived at Union Station 15 minutes late due to an operational issue.

That earlier operational problem resulted in the Oakville 7:50 being delayed and it arrived at Union 11 minutes late.

The Lincolnville 7:07 also was delayed by an operational issue and was 15 minutes late getting into Union.

On the buses, an Oakville Highway 403 trip was delayed 22 minutes from Square One due to traffic and weather conditions.

The Oshawa Highway 2 express was delayed at Finch terminal for 25 minutes due to traffic, while a Highway 407 West bus was cancelled due to an equipment problem.

Meanwhile, GO bus passengers at Finch terminal were boarding at Yonge and Bishop, due to a picket line set up by striking York Transit workers.
