A tractor-trailer rollover caused chaos on the northbound lanes of Highway 427 during the Tuesday afternoon commute.
The accident happened at about noon near the Finch Avenue exit.
Traffic was coming to a stop when the tractor-trailer slammed into a car. The rig jack-knifed, and was then struck by a dump truck.
The mess shut down the northbound lanes between Finch and Highway 407, causing extensive delays.
One woman was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the tractor-trailer, a 29-year-old Brampton man, has been charged with careless driving.
