Toronto police released three image stills taken from security camera video in effort to track down a suspect in a subway station robbery.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. on Oct. 5, an elderly woman was standing near the escalator at the Castle Frank subway station when she was approached by a male, Toronto police said in a news release Monday.

The male grabbed her gold necklace, causing the woman to fall to the ground. He then escaped.

Police asked the public to look at the security camera images and contact 53 Division if they have any information, at 416-808-5300.

Witnesses can also call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 (TIPS), leave a tip online, text TOR and their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or send a message through Facebook.
