Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with the murder of a 59-year-old Mississauga woman in April.

Ming-Chien "Theresa" Hsin’s body was found in a black BMW in a parking lot in Mississauga on April 10.

Police said the body had “obvious signs of trauma” when they were called to an address on Robert Speck Parkway, near the Square One Shopping Centre.

On Monday, Peel police arrested and charged 21-year-old Mark Dookhram with first-degree murder.

Investigators say a second suspect, 25-year-old Justine Ordonio, was arrested on Tuesday and also charged with first-degree murder in connection with Hsin’s death.

The relationship between the victim and the suspects is not immediately clear.

Court records show Hsin and some of her business partners had recently been sued for more than $5 million over a land deal gone bad.

Hsin had also recently franchised her spa business, and not all franchisees were with the deal.

But there is no evidence that Dookhram or Ordonio were part of the land deal or the franchise.

Hsin had previously been stabbed in the underground parking lot of her home last year and survived life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating whether the suspects in Hsin’s death were involved in the attempt on her life six months before her murder.

“We know that there are people out there who have information in relation to the activities of Ms. Hsin prior to her murder and know about the people who are involved,” Peel police Insp. George Koekkoek.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 ext. 3205 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
