AURORA, Ont. -- Police say two people are now charged in connection with a double stabbing in Newmarket, north of Toronto, that left one man dead and another wounded.

York Regional Police say John Jansen, 38, of Bradford, has been charged with first-degree murder after being arrested Wednesday.

Also arrested at the time was Britaney Hall, 27, of Bradford, who is charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Police say officers who arrived on the scene (at Davis Drive and Huron Heights Drive) on Feb. 12 found two men suffering from stab wounds.

One of the victims, Ronidy Roseborough, 65, of Newmarket, died of his injuries, while the second man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are still trying to identify two additional male suspects believed to be involved in the incident who were seen fleeing the area in a dark-coloured SUV.
