Snow squall warnings have led to a series of bus cancellations and school closures in southern Ontario Monday morning.
Environment Canada warns that a frigid Arctic air mass is floating over the province, bringing a combination of snow, cold temperatures and brisk wind.
As a result, the following schools are closed:
- Centre Peel Public School
- Eramosa Public School
- Kenilworth Public School
Schools remain open, but the following schools and school boards have cancelled buses for the day:
- Student Transportation Service Consortium of Grey Bruce: All buses operating in zones 1 to 15
- Simcoe County: All buses in the north, central and west zones
- Wellington-Dufferin: Division 2 (Centre Wellington, Erin, Rockwood) and Division 3 (North Wellington) buses
