School buses have been cancelled in some districts because of poor road conditions.
Here is a list of bus cancellations for Monday, January 27, 2014:
- Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board: All schools and administrative buildings are closed
- Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board: Buses cancelled (schools are open)
- Peel District School Board: Buses in Caledon are cancelled, buses to SouthFields Village PS are running
- Dufferin-Peel Catholic School Board: Buses in Caledon/Bolton and Dufferin County are cancelled
- Halton public and Catholic school districts: Transportation services north of Highway 407 and north of Dundas Street are cancelled
- Durham Region: Student transportation cancelled north of Highway 7 for public and Catholic schools
- Simcoe County (all zones)
- School buses serving Centre Wellington, North Wellington and Dufferin County
- Waterloo Region District School Board: Buses in Woolwich, Wellesley and Wilmot townships are cancelled; Floradale PS, Linwood PS, Three Bridges PS and WODSS are closed
- Middlesex, Elgin and Oxford counties
- All buses to schools in City of Kawartha Lakes for Trillium Lakelands District School Board; St. John's (Kirkfield), St. Mary's, St. Dominic, St. Luke's and Pope John Paul elementary schools and St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School
- Student Transportation Services of Central Ontario: School transportation is cancelled for all schools in STSCO jurisdiction, including Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board and Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board, and Monseigneur-Jamot school
- District School Board of Niagara
- Niagara Catholic District School Board
- Grand Erie District School Board
- Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board: Buses/taxis are cancelled for all areas except North Hastings
- Limestone District School Board: All buses are cancelled
- Chatham-Kent and Sarnia-Lambton, Zones 1-8
- Grey-Bruce: Several routes are not operating (click here for more information)
