Paramedics have rushed a man to hospital following a shooting in the city's northeast.
The shooting occurred at 4:15 p.m. on Monday at a 750 Morningside Ave. apartment building, said Const. Wendy Drummond of the Toronto Police Service.
She couldn't say if the injuries were life-threatening, but noted Toronto EMS did take the victim on an emergency run to Sunnybrook hospital.
Details are sketchy, but the shooting may have occurred in the building's lobby, she said.
The victim's mother lives in the building, but Drummond didn't have the victim's estimated age.
The suspect was last seen going south on Morningside.
