A Scarborough man appeared in court on Wednesday after being accused of killing his female neighbour, Toronto police said.
Toronto police said they were called to an apartment complex at 15 Sewells Road, north of Sheppard Avenue and Neilson Road, Tuesday evening. Officers found a woman, 29, suffering obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was removed from the apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
Peter Gulyas, 35, of Toronto, has been charged with second-degree murder.
