It’s a busy weekend in the city and there are a number of road closures to know about if you’re getting around town, including one of the busiest intersections in the city.
Open Streets TO
Bloor Street from Dufferin Street to Parliament Street and Yonge Street from Bloor Street to Queen Street will be closed on Sunday, August 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vehicles will be able to cross Bloor Street at Dufferin Street, Ossington Avenue, Grace Street, Christie Street, Bathurst Street, Spadina Avenue, Avenue Road, Bay Street, Church Street, Ted Rogers Way, Sherbourne Street and Parliament Street.
Vehicles will be able to cross Yonge Street at Wellesley, College, Gerrard, Dundas, Shuter and Queen Streets.
Chinatown Festival
The southbound lanes of Spadina Avenue will be closed from St. Andrew Street to Sullivan Street from Saturday, August 20 at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 21 at 11:59 p.m. Dundas Street will remain open during this time.
Taste of Manila
Bathurst Street will be closed in both directions from Wilson Avenue to Laurelcrest Avenue from Saturday, August 20 at 12:01 a.m. to Sunday, August 21 at 11:59 p.m. Buses on the 7 Bathurst, 310 Bathurst and 160 Bathurst north routes will divert via Wilson Avenue, Wilson Heights Avenue and Sheppard Avenue during this event.
