Summer street festival season has begun! The festivals, combined with a major subway closure, will making getting around downtown more difficult.
Events closures
Pape Village Summerfest will close Pape Avenue between Floyd and Cosburn Avenues from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Also on Saturday, Riverside Eats and Beats Streetfest means a section of Broadview Avenue will be closed near Queen Street East from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Dundas Street will be closed from Lansdowne Avenue to Roxton Road for Dundas West Fest, which lasts from 8 a.m. on Saturday morning to midnight.
Crawford Street will be closed between Harbord and Bloor Streets from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday for the Crawford Street Block Party.
The Family Fun Fit, Kids of Steel Triathlon will close westbound lanes of Kingston Road from Danforth Avenue to Birchmount Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Brenyon Way will be closed between Sheppard Avenue East and Sewells Road from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Malvern Bicycle Race on Saturday.
On Sunday, Maya's March will close Conlins Road from Ellesmere Road to Military Trail from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lake Shore Boulevard closures
The westbound right lane of Lake Shore will be occupied at Park Lawn Road for road widening, resurfacing and sidewalk construction.
Also on Lake Shore, the eastbound and westbound right lanes will be blocked as road crews paint HOV lane markings on the boulevard, from Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday at 8 a.m.
Major road closures
Northbound and southbound left lanes will be occupied on Park Lawn Road due to road widening, resurfacing and sidewalk construction, overnight every day until June 30.
Don Valley Parkway closures
The northbound and southbound left lanes will be occupied as road crews add pavement markings to the temporary HOV lanes on the DVP. The lanes will be occupied from 11 p.m. on Friday to 8 a.m. on Saturday, between the Gardiner and Highway 401.
Gardiner Expressway closures
Eastbound and westbound left lanes will be occupied from Highway 427 to the DVP as crews install pavement markings for the HOV lanes.

TTC closures and diversions
There will be no subway service between Bloor-Yonge and York Mills Station on Saturday and Sunday as crews perform scheduled track maintenance.
Replacement busses will stop at all stations along the route, other than Summerhill, which will be closed.
