LEAMINGTON, Ont. - Provincial police say a $50,000 reward is being offered in slaying six years ago of a 49-year-old Leamington, Ont., woman.

Christine Woelk disappeared on the evening of May 18, 2004, after visiting a friend in Leamington.

Police say Woelk was seen with an unknown man in her vehicle and moments later was observed alone.

She was reported missing that night and her van was found two days later between two seasonal cottages just outside the gates of Point Pelee National Park, south of Leamington.

Woelk's body was found on May 25, 2004, in waters off Black Willow Beach, in Point Pelee National Park, seven kilometres south of where the vehicle was located.

Police are asking anyone with knowledge about Woelk's murder or information about how her van got to Point Pelee to come forward.
