No one has the winning ticket for the $50 million jackpot prize in Friday night's Lotto Max draw.

That means the jackpot will be the same for the next draw June 25th.

In addition, next Friday's draw will include an estimated 55 Maxmillion draws for $1 million each.

It's the third week in a row no one has won the jackpot prize.

There were 30 winning tickets for the 45 Maxmillion prizes of $1 million each that were up for grabs in Friday night's draw.

Among the provinces, Ontario had the biggest number of Maxmillion winners -- 16, while Quebec had 11.

Sarah Kiriliuk, a spokesperson for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., said ticket sales across Canada up more than one-third above what they were last week.

One lottery retailer who spoke to CTV Toronto said the hype surrounding the big jackpot has brought a number of first-time lottery players into his downtown Toronto store.

"They've never played before. They don't know how to play, I have to explain to them how many numbers go in each box," the retailer told CTV Toronto on Friday.

For those with dreams of depositing Lotto Max millions into their bank accounts, former winner Donald MacDonald says that if they win they should be sensible with their post-lottery plans.

"Try not to change your way of life. Just live the same life, have the same friends, do the same things, don't try to change everything," the 78-year-old MacDonald told The Canadian Press in a recent interview.

"If you change everything you're going to miss a lot along the way, I think."

MacDonald, a retired Canadian Pacific Railway treasury department employee and one-time NHL goal judge, won a $10-million Lotto Max jackpot in March.

A month before MacDonald won his $10-million prize, a B.C. resident and a Quebec resident split a $50-million jackpot.

Last November, Marie Fontaine of Pine Falls, Man., was the sole winner of $50 million in the Lotto Max draw.

The odds that anyone had the winning ticket for Friday's jackpot were one in 28 million.
