Canada extends pandemic benefits through to Oct. 23

The federal government is tapping the brakes on its plans to phase out pandemic aid programs this summer, deciding instead to freeze benefits at current levels and extend help by an extra month beyond the previously planned end date.

U.S. Gov. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, probe finds

An investigation found that Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women in and out of state government and worked to retaliate against one of his accusers, New York's attorney general announced Tuesday in a finding that quickly renewed calls for the Democrat's resignation or impeachment.
