Toronto police are warning the public after the attempted abduction of a 22-year-old woman in Etobicoke over the weekend.

According to police, the victim was walking along Humberwood Boulevard near Humberline Drive, north of Humberwoods Park, Sunday night when she was approached from behind by a man.

The suspect grabbed her and tried to pull her towards his vehicle, a newer black four-door Infiniti.

Police say the suspect fled from the scene in the vehicle.

He is described as East Indian, 6' with a muscular build and a short beard. He was last seen wearing a black sleeveless vest hoodie over a yellow shirt, and a black hat.

The suspect had a tattoo located on his upper left arm.
