A preacher at a north Toronto church was charged with sexual assault after a woman claimed she was attacked during a prayer session.
Toronto police say they received a call from the Fire of Miracle Ministries Church, at 1270 Finch Ave. W., on Wednesday, claiming was sexually assault by a pastor while attending a prayer session.
Emmanuel Animodi, 45, has been charged with sexual assault. He appeared in court on Thursday.
Animodi is described on the church's website as "an anointed chosen man of God, whom God has revealed the secret of His Blood unto."
Police say there may be other victims and ask anyone with information to come forward.
