Toronto police say a post-mortem examination has been scheduled for an 18-year-old man who was fatally shot on Friday night.

Jarvis St. Remy was waiting for a bus when he was gunned down at 4049 Dundas Street West, near Scarlett Road, around 10:45 p.m. on Friday.

Police believe two men were involved in the shooting, but apparently only one of them armed.

Witnesses say at least two shots were fired.

St. Remy was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Sunday morning.

St. Remy is described by his family as being a friendly Grade 12 student who dreamed of being an engineer.

On Saturday, his aunt, Sansha Joseph, asked for those responsible for her nephew's death to turn themselves in.

"You took a big part of our family away and there's nothing you can do, the law can do, to change it," Joseph said. "But if you have a heart left, the least you can do is turn yourself in."

Police have asked for the public's help in their investigation into St. Remy's death.
