Porter Airlines says it will operate a full flight schedule when the G20 summit comes to Toronto later this month.

The airline expects that there could be some delays for travellers, though airline president Robert Deluce says Porter will do its best to keep its passengers informed of any changes.

"Everyone recognizes this is an extraordinary event and new information may cause some plans to be adjusted," Deluce said in a statement released Thursday morning.

"We'll do our best to make sure our passengers have the best information as soon as possible."

Porter advises its passengers to keep track of their flight status through the company website.

The airline says it expects that "peak summit activity" will occur from June 25-27, though there could be some delays in the four days leading up to the G20 summit.

Passengers can expect some delays getting to and from Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport during this time period and should leave extra time to do so.

And as a result of G20-related road closures, Porter will suspend its shuttle bus service from June 21 to June 27. It will resume on June 28.
