Police say they have uncovered new evidence in a fatal west-end shooting that occurred one year ago.

Delano Coombs, 27, was gunned down outside a building near Dundas Street and Scarlett Road on May 10, 2012.

At the time police said two men were seen leaving the scene of the shooting by witnesses, however to date no arrests have been made.

Police have scheduled a news conference for 1 p.m., where they will discuss the new evidence and release photographs of property belonging to a suspect in the case.

Members of Coombs’s family will also be on hand.
