Police are looking for witnesses who saw a sports car hit a pedestrian on the east side of High Park on Thursday night.

According to police, a Dodge Viper lost control while turning south onto Parkside Drive from Howard Park Avenue around 9:30 p.m.

The sports car first struck a car headed northbound on Parkside Drive, then drove over the east curb, struck a 26-year-old woman and hit a house on the corner of Constance Street and Parkside Drive.

The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The 32-year-old male driver of the Dodge Viper and a male passenger each sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, and a six-year-old passenger also received minor injuries.
