Toronto police have released a photo of a male suspect who is accused of pushing another man onto the subway tracks at the Dundas West subway station last weekend.

Police say a man was waiting on the eastbound subway platform just before 6:00 a.m. on March 28, when he was pushed by the suspect.

The man then fell down to track level at the Dundas West station.

No trains were in the station at the time of the alleged assault.

The suspect, who was caught on camera, then left the platform and got on the 504 streetcar.

Police say he sat at the rear of the streetcar until he got off near Roncesvalles Avenue, possibly near Queen Street West.

The suspect is described as a stocky white male who is in his 20s, between 5'6" and 5'9" in height. He has a shaved head and was wearing a plaid, hooded sweatshirt, a beige, three-quarter length-coat, as well as jeans, and black shoes or boots.
