WOODSTOCK, Ont. - Police officers looking for the remains of Victoria Stafford are searching a landfill and alongside a major highway today.

The eight-year-old girl disappeared in Woodstock, Ont., on April 8 and the search for the little girl turned into a search for her remains after two people were arrested on May 19.

Michael Rafferty, 28, and Terri-Lynne McClintic, 19, are charged with first-degree murder and kidnapping.

On Wednesday, police were searching the landfill in Woodstock and the roadway and ditch area of Highway 401 westbound between Guelph and Woodstock.

Investigators are still looking for the discarded grey rear seat from the suspect vehicle, a 2003 four-door Honda.

A memorial for Victoria will be held in Woodstock on Saturday at 1 p.m.
