Toronto police have released additional images of the so-called "Mummy Bandit," a suspect who investigators say has robbed nine banks in the downtown core since last October.

Police have previously described him as dangerous, saying he is known to carry a weapon during his robberies.

"We have great concern about this individual because he has an edged weapon and he has used what we believe to be a handgun on every occasion," Inspt. Mike Earl said in a statement in April. At the time, police alleged he committed seven bank robberies.

Since then, police believe he has robbed two more banks: one last Thursday at a branch located near Fork York Boulevard and Spadina Avenue; and another on May 14 at a branch near College and Bathurst streets.

In both robberies, police say the suspect went behind the teller’s counter and pulled out a handgun. He is described as white, between 20- and 30-years-old, and is between 5’6 and 5’10 tall.
