Toronto police say two males are in custody and two others are being sought after a brief pursuit ended in a crash Tuesday morning.

Police pursued the vehicle after someone reported an attempted break-in near Rogers and Caledonia roads at about 3:10 a.m.

The vehicle crashed into a stop sign and a parked car nearby at Silverthorn and Rockwell avenues, and four males ran away, police told CP24.

Two males were apprehended and one of them was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The second male was taken to a police station.

The males have not been charged and police are investigating whether they were involved in the attempted break-in.

Officers are scouring the neighbourhood for two other males.
