Police have released video security footage of a brazen armed robbery at a midtown jewelry store in an attempt to identify the two male suspects involved in the incident.

Toronto Police say two men entered a store in the Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue area on May 1. One suspect, who was armed with a shotgun, allegedly pointed the weapon at the victims in the store. Police say he then racked the gun twice and ordered them to get down on their knees.

The suspect then used the butt of the gun to break the store's display cases while the other suspect removed the jewelry and placed it in a dark duffel bag.

The first suspect is described as white, between 25- and 30-years-old, and is about 5’9 tall.

The second suspect is described as brown, between 25- and 30-years-old, and is about 6’0 tall.
