Toronto police raided a North York house in connection with a reported overnight home invasion and attempted abduction in the city's north end.

Police received a call early Friday morning from a couple claiming that someone had broken into their Wilson Avenue home. The man, who is in his 40s, told police the suspects tried to abduct him but that there was a scuffle and they ran off.

The man and woman were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries.

Later Friday morning, the officers Emergency Task Force closed in on an address near the victims' home.

No one was arrested but police are still investigating the incident and trying to determine who was involved.
