Toronto police have named another suspect in the slaying of 18-year-old Abdikarim Ahmed Abdikarim, who was killed last month in a Lawrence Heights shooting spree.

Jessica Marie Speranza, 22, was arrested after Emergency Task Force and Homicide Squad officers executed an entry warrant late last week at a Keele Street/Finch Avenue West residence.

She is charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder.

Owen Anthony Smith, 25, was also arrested in the raid last week. He faces charges of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder.

Smith appeared in court on Saturday and was ordered held in custody until his next court appearance on Monday.

He reportedly wore a black hooded sweatshirt and one of his eyes was swollen shut, apparently from a recent altercation.

Officers made the first arrest in the case on March 30 when they apprehended 25-year-old Wendell Damian Cuff in a pre-dawn raid.

He has been denied bail and also faces one count of first-degree murder and five counts of attempted murder. Investigators allege he is an accomplice in the shooting.

On March 14, six people were hanging out outside a housing complex home on Amaranth Court, near Lawrence Avenue and Allen Road, when a man walked up to them and started shooting.
