BURLINGTON, Ont - Police have released the name of a man who died in a five-vehicle collision early today on the Niagara-bound portion of the Queen Elizabeth Way in Oakville, Ont.

Cesar Miranda-Orillo, 49, of Oakville was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

He was the driver of a Pontiac G6 that slammed into a Honda Civic that had been in an earlier collision along with a tow truck that had responded.

An SUV and another car travelling westbound also became involved in the collision at Royal Windsor Drive.

The driver of the Honda Civic was charged with impaired driving and taken to an Oakville hospital with minor injuries.

No one else was injured.
