MARKHAM, Ont. - York Regional Police are looking for three men in connection with a home invasion in Markham early this morning.
Police say three men entered a home on Black Cherry Drive, near Markham Road and Raymerville Drive, at about 1:20 a.m.
Three adults and two children were in the residence at the time but police say the children were asleep and were not harmed.
Police say the suspects demanded money and personal property and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and valuables.
One of the adults in the house was injured during the robbery and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say another one of the adults in the house was forcibly confined, but not harmed.
Investigators believe this is an isolated incident and are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact police.
