TORONTO -
Toronto police are hoping appeals on YouTube -- in three languages -- will result in the capture of a man accused of assaulting a baby.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued a week ago for Ronnie Munoz-Hernandez, 21, accusing him of aggravated assault.
Police say a five-month-old boy was taken to a Toronto hospital on Sept. 12 with life threatening injuries.
On Friday, police issued YouTube appeals in English, Spanish and French calling on anyone who has seen Munoz-Hernandez to contact investigators.
Det. Sgt. Colin Greenaway says the child's injuries were not an accident and Munoz-Hernandez knows he is wanted by police.
Police have charged 31-year-old Juan Neira-Penaloza of Toronto with helping Munoz-Hernandez evade investigators.
