Ontario Provincial Police in Caledon, Ont. are investigating two separate incidents at local high schools.

Police responded to a call at Mayfield Secondary School at approximately 1:10 p.m., after a student reported that he had received a digital photo of a weapon. Police have confirmed that no threats were made, but continue to investigate the incident.

The high school, located at 5000 Mayfield Rd., is still under lockdown along with neighbouring elementary school James Grieve Public School.

At 1:12 p.m., Caledon OPP also responded to a robbery that occurred in a park next to Humberview Secondary School, located at 135 Kingsview Dr. in Bolton, Ont.

One of two victims was assaulted during the incident, investigators say. Police have taken one suspect into custody and have confirmed that the suspect is not a student at the school.

Police say the two incidents are not related and both investigations are ongoing.
