Police are looking for at least one suspect after a gunshot apparently struck a Toronto school late Tuesday night.

Officers responded to Queen Alexandra Middle School on Broadview Avenue, just south of Dundas Street East, when the sound of gunfire was reported around 11:15 p.m.

As they investigated in the playground area behind the school, officers found what appeared to be a bullet lodged in the frame of the school, a police spokesman told CP24.

No injuries were reported.
