Toronto police are looking for a suspect after a series of small fires in the city’s west end overnight.

As many as six small garbage fires were set in the Lansdowne Avenue and Queen Street area at about 2 a.m., police said.

According to investigators, the fires were lit in front of homes on Macdonnell and Garden Avenues.

Wednesday is pickup day in the neighbourhood, and police believe someone intentionally set the garbage on fire.
