Toronto police have released a photo of a second suspect wanted in connection with a brazen shooting on a TTC bus late last month.

Marlon Josemar Cooper, 22, has been identified as an outstanding suspect in the case. Police say he is wanted for attempted murder.

Investigators arrested a 27-year-old man on Friday, Feb. 27 and charged him with eight offences including attempted murder.

The shooting happened aboard a TTC bus on Oakwood Avenue, near Vaughan Road in the early afternoon of Feb. 23, 2009.

A 17-year-old man was shot but is expected to recover from his injuries. There were 12 passengers on the bus at the time but no one else was wounded as a result of the shooting.

Police said at the time the victim knew his shooters. Witnesses at the scene said the teen boarded the bus and almost immediately got into a physical altercation with the two men. Shots were fired and the victim was pistol-whipped.

Authorities say the outstanding suspect should be considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are being warned not to approach the suspect but instead, to call 911.
