Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with an armed sexual assault that took place in downtown Toronto in December.
Investigators allege that on Dec. 11, an 18-year-old woman was walking in the area of Yonge and Carlton Streets when she was approached by a man armed with a knife.
The man allegedly sexually assaulted and robbed her before fleeing the area.
In a statement issued on Monday, police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Farrukh Noor Mohammad of Toronto.
Mohammad is facing five charges, including sexual assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and robbery.
None of the charges against him have been proven in court.
Mohammad is described as five-feet-six inches tall with a thin build, black hair and brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
