Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 47-year-old man wanted in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in the city’s Trinity Bellwoods area last week.
It happened in the area of Dundas Street West and Manning Avenue at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
According to police, the victim, a 25-year-old woman, was approached by a man from behind and sexually assaulted. She suffered serious injuries as a result.
The man fled the scene following the assault.
In a release Tuesday morning, police identified a suspect wanted in connection with the attack.
Orral “Moses” Phinn, of Toronto, is wanted on a charge of sexual assault causing bodily harm. Const. Victor Kwong confirmed the suspect is known to police.
