ORANGEVILLE, Ont. - Police say the search continues today for an Ontario nurse who was reported missing by her family on Monday when she didn't show up for work.

On Friday, police asked the public for help in finding blood-soaked bedding missing from 42-year-old Sonia Varaschin's home in Orangeville, Ont.

Varaschin's family also made a heartfelt plea for her safe return in a statement and said they are dedicated to finding her.

Varaschin's blood-stained white Toyota Corolla was found in an alley Monday morning in the town, some 80 kilometres northwest of Toronto.

A trail of blood was also found inside and outside her home.

Police say they have no suspect, but forensic evidence leads them to believe foul play is involved.
