Toronto police have released a photograph of the parents suspected of abducting their five-year-old daughter from a Children's Aid Society office.

Alana Livas was allegedly taken from the east-end CAS office at about 1 p.m. on Thursday during a supervised visit by her parents.

Police allege Peter and Vivene Livas took the girl without permission and drove away.

Investigators say the child does not have the vitamins she needs.

"At this point, all we're asking for, if the parents are listening, please ensure that she receives those Vitamin D and Calcium," Supt. Bob Qualtrough said.

"Also, you can return her to any police station or hospital, and she'll be well taken care of and we'll hear your concerns."

The couple was last seen driving a small car that police describe as a brown 1993 Acura Integra bearing the licence plate BCCL 451.

Alana is described as white with a dark complexion and long, straight, dark-brown hair.
