A Mississauga man is being accused of using at least 17 fake identities as he applied for loans from banks and credit card companies in Toronto.

The 32-year-old suspect was allegedly armed with forged documents, including fake government-issued identification, when he applied for the credit.

Investigators said they are also looking a second man who is considered a "person of interest."

Police released the 17 names to the public and are asking anyone who may have the same name to call investigators immediately as they may have been a victim of identity theft.
