Pedestrian struck by TTC bus in Toronto's west end dies in hospital

A pedestrian has died in hospital after they were struck by a TTC bus in the city’s west end, Toronto police say.

The collision occurred at around 8:30 p.m. near Bloor Street and Ossington Avenue.

The man was rushed to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition but police later confirmed that he died of his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation by Toronto police.
