A woman was taken to hospital on Tuesday afternoon after being struck by a car that threw her over a fence in northeast Toronto.
The woman was walking on Oak Park Avenue when she was struck around 2 p.m., police said.
Police said the woman suffered serious head injuries in the collision that involved two vehicles. The driver of one of the vehicles was also taken to hospital.
Oak Park Avenue was closed between Lumsden and Crew Avenues.
