OAKVILLE, Ont. - A man is dead after being struck by a passenger train early today in Oakville, Ont.
Halton region police were called to the area of Kerr Street and Speers Road at about 1:30 a.m.
Police found a man without vital signs and are now trying to identify him and determine why he was on the tracks.
None of the passengers on the train were injured.
Police say GO Train passengers on the Lakeshore West line may experience some delays this morning as the investigation continues.
