For the third time this month, a person is dead after a collision involving a Toronto Transit Commission vehicle.

The latest fatality occurred when a pedestrian was struck by a TTC bus on Bloor Street West at Concord Avenue shortly after midnight Saturday.

Police said a 62-year-old man was hit by the westbound bus as it was attempting to turn north on to Concord.

The man was walking across Concord at an angle in the middle of the road, police said.

He was knocked to the ground and struck his head on the curb.

Police said the man died of his injuries in hospital.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call police at 416-808-1900 or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477.

Earlier this month, a man died after being struck by a TTC bus on Dufferin Street, while another man died after he was dragged by a streetcar on Queen Street West.
